Engine build with the following parts: Federal Mogul Hypereutectic pistons (.40 over), ARP rod bolts, Cloyes double roller timer chain, Melling hi volume oil pump, Elgin cam, Elgin lifters and Elgin pushrods, Crane stud mount rocker arms and conversion kit, ARP head bolts, nice hi performance water pump and other parts. I got the heads done with hardened exhaust seats, new springs, valves, etc. Everything turned out real nice. I have to get a 600 cfm carb and a HEI distributor. I will be using an Edelbrock dual plane intake manifold.

I got the 351C block back from the machine shop and wow, did they do a great job! TY Gary!
351 Cleveland with a 4-bolt main crankshaft.
They ground the crank.
They fit the pistons and reconditioned the rods. Using ARP rod bolts.
This is what's left of the donar car. It has been stripped clean. I removed the fold down seat brackets that were welded in. I will soon call Pick N Pull to come take it away. They will give me $187 to haul it away for the scrap value.

I found and bought a second parts car today.
I found this car down in Albany, OR on craigslist for $600 and was really happy to grab it. The car is rusted out beyond fixing, but, with it comes: a complete fold down rear seat assembly, complete black interior, complete dash (with original radio), exterior trim, 2 mirrors, steering wheel, 5 pieces of glass, complete doors, 4 factory hubcaps, 4-speed pedals, a manual transmission, 351C engine parts, an inflator canister, 3 boxes of stuff I can sell if I don't use it. I will strip the car of everything worth saving and then call Schnitzer Scrap Steel to come take it away to the crusher. I may even make a little $ selling it to them.

Day 1: I bought the car in Colton, Oregon and had it towed to my house. This is how everything looked on day 1.
It is the most solid mustang I have ever purchased. I can't believe how straight the panels are and there is NO RUST! It looks like previous owner had all the body work done, primed and blocked it, and was ready to seal and paint it. Then left it outside for 5 years, unfinished.
Embarrassment of Riches
Not only was the car mostly complete with parts, in some cases, there were 2 or even 3 of the same thing. I can use the best pieces and sell the rest on Craigslist or eBay.
